We got the heaviest snow of the season in early March. I went to Edwin Warner Park in Nashville, and walked the trails for a few hours. As I was heading back to my car, ready to call it a day, I noticed this daffodil next to the parking lot. My final shot, which turned out to be my favorite of the morning.
This blossom was surrounded by bushes, which made it impossible to get up close with a macro lens, so I used the 70-300mm zoom, and framed the flower through the intervening foliage from about 4 feet away.
